I had a whirlwind stay at Hotel Casa Dos Frades. The location is excellent, right by a lively square and close to many sights, but the noise from nearby festivities was a bit distracting. The staff was super friendly and the view of Teatro Amazonas from the rooftop was amazing. However, I had a little trouble sleeping due to noise, which knocked my rating down.

I had a great stay at Hotel Casa Dos Frades, with really friendly staff who went out of their way to make me feel welcomed. The location is fantastic, right on Sao Sebastian Square and close to the Teatro Amazonas. My only downside was the noise from the surroundings, which made it a bit hard to relax at times, and the WiFi was pretty poor in my room. Overall, though, the experience was enjoyable and offered a unique vibe.
